Wigsis – Horrible Wigs

I made a huge mistake buy ordering wigs from them and then reading the longgg list of terrible reviews. Bombarded them with e-mails to cancel my order and was told they were already being made, so could not cancel.

Related: DON’T BE FOOLED BY WIGSIS!

When they came. they were sooo horrible looking. Not real hair. not even synthetic.

I’ve seen better hair on a $5.00 baby doll. Threw them in the trash rather than go threw the stress of dealing with that SCAM company. I learned a big lesson from this. If you want to keep your money.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!! they say this message needs to be longer,so I’ll just say They are a scam.

fraud, and I don’t know why they are still in business. That SMILEY FACE at the bottom is not from me.

Review about: Wigsis Wig.

PerfeHair – Another Scam Site

This is a Perfehair wig review. ( apparently they also operate under several different names. We wigs, life wigs and MyBestWig). After receiving this hair, I thought I really needed to do a review. This wig is from a China, not a UK based company. This company claims to be selling human hair and wigs at a bargain price. I would advise anyone to watch my review first before making any purchase. I was given an update that this company also operates under the name we wigs, sigh! They must have a target to become millionaires by Christmas because they are working extremely hard coning people.

Purchased a wig from this site and the one I received was terrible and quality was very poor. I contacted them and said that I want to return it and get a refund and they agreed. They gave me a return address and I shipped it back at my own expense. About two weeks later when they received the wig they contacted me and said that it was damaged and they will not refund me!! They said that if I wanted to get the wig back I needed to pay the shipping fee! This site is nothing but scam, stay away!!

I wish I had searched deeper for reviews before I dealt with this company. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and decided to spend a bit more on something the guarantee would fit me like a glove. The wig I ordered cost $274 and was nothing I MEAN NOTHING like what I ordered. I paid through PayPal also and they were no help. Seems they’re in on it. I could not believe the way I was treated by both of them. I don’t know what kind of hair it was but it may as well been rat hair. It was awful, so awful and they would not refund my money unless I mailed it to China which would have cost almost $200 on their site it says it’s all done in the U.S. and any issue would be dealt with through there.. Please ladies stay far away from them and if you wind up in my situation please report them through the better business bureau and the consumer fraud dept through the attorney general’s office. The pain and suffering they’ve caused so many woman we need a class action suit!!!!! Content found on SiteJabber.com

WARNING ….WAR ON WIG WEARERS !

It seems the Chinese Knock-off epidemic has hit the wig industry.  For years now the knock off sites have been taking consumers for a ride in the fashion industry and there is little anyone can do about it.  Fake products marketed as the original at deep discounts.  Only to find out you don’t even get what you pay for.  This has been happening on websites throughout the US and the list of scammed consumers continues to grow!  Because these Scam Sites originate in China, there is little anyone in the US can do to stop them.  They are sometimes hard to spot (unless you pay close attention to the grammar;)

Now the wig industry has been taken by storm by these Chinese manufacturers of low quality copies of the name brands US customers have grown to trust and love.  It is a rip off of a different kind as many of these customers are ordering wigs because they have to wear them.  Desperate in some cases, women who need wigs just to leave their home get scammed and stuck holding an empty bag.  So many are drawn in by the images they are familiar with which make you think it is the same wigs and hair extensions you have been buying.  Others get dazzled by the image they see which can easily lead one to believe they are getting a gorgeous high end look for a fraction of the cost.  Too good to be true… usually is!

So how do you figure out the good guys from the bad guys?   It is best to go with a reputable company which you KNOW has been around a long time.  They have established businesses and can be held accountable by US FTC.  Make sure you see a contact number and valid address in the united states before you do business with a new company if you want to take a chance on somewhere new.

One way to tell you are dealing with a Scam Site is if you see images of Celebrities advertised as the wig images.  Of course those images are not even of wigs… they are simply trying to lead you to believe you will get a wig just like this celebrity’s style.   Not going to happen.

You pay… they SOMETIMES send you a product… or you get it and it is NOT what you thought you were buying and… very low quality.  None of these sites give you recourse.  Good luck trying to get your money back!  All of these sites have 100% fake inventory and are not selling you anything of quality or brand names at all! Now you are left to fight the credit card company for your money back and since the product has been sent… you are usually out of luck.

The worst part of all this is the terrible experience so many first time wig wearers will have.  Many will just throw in the towel right there and stay stuck with an inferior wig and wear something which doesn’t look or feel like it should.  This affects confidence and we all know confidence is key in looking good.

If you are reading this, it is likely you have already been taken by some of these sites (wigsbuy.com, wigsis.com, rosegal.com, wigsfly.com, nextwigs.com… see entire list) which  are currently the worst offenders taking millions of dollars from US customers for wigs they will never see or never be able to fully enjoy.  It is time to post your experience with these and protect yourself from them in the future.  More importantly… help others before they get scammed too.

Scam Alert | WigsBuy.com

Please read entire Scam Alert post before you buy from WigsBuy.com

Know who you are buying from.

It is important to go with a reputable site.  These larger sites can be trusted as they are established and have legitimate products.   Look for a phone number in the US and don’t get drawn in by deep discounts which are not simply clearance of a small quantity of inventory.

(please see the list of authorized SAFE SITES to shop for wigs and hairpieces)

wigsbuy.com has no affiliation with Raquel Welch Wigs, but they made it look like it . . .

Be careful and read consumer reviews before you buy.

Rene D. about WigsBuy

This is one of the worst sites I have ever been to. It is all a shell game. They make the wigs which have nothing to do with how they look. I SPENT A LOT OF MONEY ON 3 WIGS. Only one I might be able to use.The wigs were too small. THIS SITE HAD NO AFFILIATION WITH Raquel Welch Wigs but it made it looked like it did. I realized when they came in plain plastic bags no name on them…Wigsbuy is basically a fake site it is run from China you can not get anyone on the phone. I called the phone number which is in Xian China…I am so upset with myself for not recognizing it..please heed what I am sharing.

Tip for consumers: Do not buy a wig from a site that is off shore in China and checkout they have no name brand wigs it is disguised like they do… they use pictures of actresses implying the wigs will look like that.  See list of authorized US wig e-tailers.

I am usually not one to complain about customer service, but . . . | about WigsBUY.com

in this circumstance I am extremely dissatisfied.

I ordered a wig on wigsbuy.com on 10/13/14 and paid for two day shipping as I wanted the wig sooner than later so I could try it on and make sure it worked for my costume. I paid a total of $61.99 for the wig plus $25 shipping to get it here.
I emailed the customer service email address on 10/23/14 and stated I no longer wanted the wig as I had changed my costume and no longer needed it and wanted to save them the money to ship it hoping for a full refund.
I received a reply on 10/24/14 stating that they just finished “Custom Making” my wig…? I then received a call at 10:30 that night from a woman who barely spoke english telling me she was shipping the wig even though I didn’t want it. She offered a $10 refund and when I said no, she said “Ok. I ship anyway. We just finish making and very sad you don’t want” So I figured when I received the wig I would just ship it back. I was wrong.
It arrived on 10/27/14. WAY more than two days from the original purchase date of 10/13/14.
When I opened the box for the wig the packing slip stated it was worth $19. So I did a little research online and found that the wig was actually only worth $19 and was synthetic…not a $62 wig.
I emailed their customer service stating I wanted to return the wig. The conversation went as follows:

“Thank you for your shopping WigsBuy.com.
Can you tell us why you want to return it back?what’s wrong with the wig you received?
Any questions, please feel free to Contact Us.
Best wishes”

I replied: “I don’t want the wig. I told the representative over the phone I didn’t want it and she refused to let me return it. I would prefer not to answer questions about why I don’t want it anymore. I would simply like to return it.”
To which they replied:

“Thank you for your shopping WigsBuy.com.
Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the wig of order ######.
Could you kindly send us clear actual photos of the wig you received, the photos are taken in the natural light,so that we can make clear what’s the problem and solve it.
Before you return the wig, hope you can provide the pictures to prove the wig problem.
You can send us the wig pictures in the attachment by e-mail.
You can’t return the wig back without our permission.
Looking forward to your reply.
Any questions, please feel free to Contact Us.
Best wishes”

WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION?!?!?!
Last I checked people are allowed to return an item if they are dissatisfied and within the return period.
I then replied: “There isn’t a problem with the wig.
I DON’T WANT OR NEED THE WIG.
That is why I called to cancel the order BEFORE it was shipped to me.
The rep on the phone then ARGUED with me for ten minutes refusing to refund my money.
I would simply like to return the unopened wig and get my money back please.”
I have yet to receive a reply but it took them days to get back to me and tomorrow is the 7th day of receiving the wig…I am sure that I will then have a battle because I didn’t return it within the 7 day period.
Any advice on how I can report this website as the BBB is only applicable to the US and Canada.
I am overly frustrated and sick or arguing with these people!
I will NEVER shop at wigsbuy.com again!
