I wish I would have read “Wigs-Scam-Alert.com” prior to buying a wig.

I bought a wig from WigsBuy.com and once received, it did not resemble that which I thought I was purchasing. I emailed the company and they requested that I email them a picture. I emailed them three pictures, one with the advertisement and the picture of the wig I received next to each other; which was a clear example of the differences.

The company replied and told me to take some hair spray and fix the wig to make it beautiful. They basically refused to provide address so I can send back the wig for a full refund or an exchange for the right styled wig.

Terrible Product and Refusal to Give Refunds

They have a very nice site and give you many choices of wigs you think you can get. It doesn’t matter what style or color you choose, you get a poorly made, haphazard, uneven choppy wig of whatever color they feel like sending. When you try to get resolution, they tell you what a great price you got and how it was made just for your order.I sent photos comparing what I ordered with what I got. They claimed nothing was wrong with it. The best they would do was refund $10 (I paid $118). Complete refusal to acknowledge the problem. It took a month of back and forth complaints. Luckily I paid with PayPal who said they are very well acquainted with these people and their practices.It’s a great racket.
Throwing something together and charging $118 for it and closing the complaint by refunding $10. I doubt they have ever made a wig that was acceptable. I have never dealt with anyone with such a blatant disregard of business ethics.There really should be a way of stopping people like this. I suppose complaining and spreading the word is the best I can do.

The Wig Has a Big Manufacturing Problem and They Said That the Wig Is OK

I bought a wig from Wigsbuy.com and the wig that I received on July 2 th 2013 has an important manufacturing fault at the top of the wig.
I sent them the pictures, but they have the nerve to tell me that the wig was OK. Sorry, for my bad English, I speak French usually. I already sent the wig back to them with Canadian Post and it cost me $25.00 cad.Please tell me WHAT can I do to get my money back ? I paid $121.99 us… it’s a lot of money… I’m not working and I need my money back. And where can I lodge a legal complaint against the WIGSBUY.COM ? We have to stop them!Thank you for your helping me, I appreciate a lot.

This Place Is A Rip Off – Press For Money!!! Sell Mess !!!

I purchase a wig from wigsbuy.com and that wig came missing hair and it looked nothing like the picture. I contact wigs buy to explain to them I want my money back that I was not happy with their merchandise and I do not want this wig. The proceeded to tell me to put hair spray on it and do what I must. I wrote them back and said I was sending this wig back and I want my money. They told me they will refund me $10 and I can keep the hair. I want my $58.00 and I do not want this wig.

Beautiful Pics on Their Site but the Final Product Has No Resemblance at All With the One You Ordered!

Bad Customer Experience: End of September I ordered 2 wigs at Wigsbuy.com, I waited over 2 month before the first wig was sent to me. I emailed Customer Service several times and every time I got a message telling me to be patient. Not quite the color and model I expected but it was acceptable.
The second one I finally got on the 21th of December after again a lot of emailing asking why it took so long manufacturing the wig.
(I told them that nowadays one can build a house in about 2 1/2 month)
I opened the package and the wig that was in it had no resemblance at all with the model I ordered and instead of a blond mixture I ordered it looked reddish.
It even was badly cut !
I emailed again with Customer Service Department of Wigsbuy to complain about this matter and asked for a return label to be able to send it back.I hereby quote the email I did get from Wigsbuy:

Dear Marian,

We’re indeed sorry to hear that you are not pleased with the wig.

And we’ll do our best to compensate you if there was something wrong with the wig due to our fault.

Here we need your help to send us CLEAR photos of the wig with the problem you mentioned, such as the wrong size, wrong color and so on.(if it’s a color problem, please close the flashlight when taking the pics)

We will investigate such an issue as soon as possible after we receive yours photos and will contact you to solve it.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience that we have caused to you. Your kind understanding and patience will be greatly appreciated!

I ordered a real human hair wig for more than $300. The website looked American. I also paid for expedited $20 at the time. After I paid, something didn’t seem right to me. I wish I googled before I paid, but I believed all their glowing reviews. I saw all the people that were scammed upon googling. I felt sick to my stomach. I tried to cancel my order immediately. Of course I could not phone them as they had no number to get through to! I emailed them and said I had just ordered but I’m cancelling as soon as possible. This was a few hours later. I waited for a response… I waited… I waited. I was so upset at this point because I knew I just got screwed! Finally 3 days later! I get an email that says we cannot give you your money because we already purchased the materials to put the wig together for you and it’s been more than 24 hours.

I wrote back and said I canceled right away, but no one responded until 3 days later. I even time stamped all my emails and sent them proof. They said they will give only $80 back. I said what about the United States expedited charge…..why did I get charged $77 and not $15 for that. It said $15, not $77. They did not respond ever to this day about the charge. I received less than half my money back and I didn’t even get a wig.
I hate them. I hope they get closed down.

Wig with Lice

Tired of my aging and thin hair, so I ordered a wig. What I received did not look like the picture PLUS – there were dead lice in the hair, as well as nit sacks. So disgusting. I emailed them and they told me to style the wig and spray it – that I would love it. They did not acknowledge my complaint about the bugs. I continued to try to explain that I wanted my money back, and sent them pictures of the wig AND the bugs etc. They continued to tell me that I should just get over it and style the wig to my liking. I’ve contacted Pay Pal and have not received any response from them. I wish I had googled these reviews, as I now see that this is another unethical business in China. I hate China. They poison our pets AND our children – and give us infested wigs. All at the expense of the poor pitiful workers in that excuse for a country!

Worst Wigs Ever

These are the worst wigs ever. I bought 2 wigs that when they came I thought it was a joke because they looked the same. No styling just badly died hair in a clump. There is not enough styling that could help these ugly messes. I showed them to a stylist who said there was no hope and go to a real wig store that was reputable. The slipshod workmanship, the lackadaisical lack of style and the dullard dye job is enough to make you not want to wear a wig. Horrid customer service they NEVER return emails or phone calls. Shame on you Wigsbuy show what you really send on line not what you want it to look like online but what you actually send the client. False advertising. Bad product.

Complaint about Wigsmart.co.uk

Wigsmart.co.uk no phone number and 17 emails later…wig delivered but was wrong colour than the colour ordered. Style was not the style ordered. They said it was what we ordered, but was not. They offered compensation of £20 then £35 and advised us to take it to hair dresser and get it dyed and re styled. I have reported them to my credit card to try get money refunded.

Conned thinking was a UK company but was Chinese scam site.

  2. I bought a wig on yourwigs.com and what I received is a Mess! I contacted them and told them and told them it was the wrong color and not even close to what I ordered. Then they were insulting and said That I didn’t comb it or style it! And asked me to spend more to take it to a stylist and have them style it ! I refused to spend another dime on this disaster! This site is a SCAM do not order from them!

  6. I purchased 2 wigs and 1 just arrived it is a tragedy. This wig looms nothing like the image I saw when I ordered it. I have one more order coming. But I refuse to order another damn wig. I am so pissed off, money down the drain fuck!!! I wish the next person order something reads the reviews first. A scam for real, so in professional

  7. Wigsby.com is a complete rip off. Ordered a wig and a complete mop looking disqust came. Also beware of BOLAIYA WIGS…..A TRUE RIP OFF! The wig shreds something awful and the part is a laughing nightmare. Its not synthetic, real or fake hair…its more like strings attached to a bright yellow knit. Dont do it please.

  8. I ordered a wig it took a few weeks, I was willing to wait. I received it, the wig was nothing like the picture, the color I ordered was so off, it had no style as the picture showed, and it smelled. I notified them right away. I paid $208 for it, they tell me now they put a lot of work into it. They will give me $125. This company is a rip off and they lie about their refunds. I sent a review that did not post. Only good reviews are on there site. BE AWARE

  10. I ordered a wig from them on Jan 12,2019. I contacted them a month ago asking the status. I was emailed back saying they were making the wig especially for me. The site indicated it was Preparing.It has been a little over 3 months and I have not received the wig or a refund. I sent an email requesting a refund but no response. Just as everyone else on this site I believe they are a scam. It does not take 3 months to make a wig. The question is what can we do about it? So, I am going on my Facebook account, Twitter, and Linked to let people know not to order from this company. I didn’t think to check reviews from the site before I ordered, but I will check all sites before ordering anything in the future. I basically gave away $138. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!

    • These people have to get reported!! I ordered 2 wigs spend over $500 and we got the wrong wigs. They advertise that is real hair and it’s not. They advertise that if not 100% satisfied is free return! NOT TRUE !!
      I threw my wigs in the garbage. What a piece of garbage…

  11. Bought a wig from kaaibaby (american wig, port Charlotte Fl) Wig is advertised on FB as silliest short bob. Took 35 days to receive. Sent email after email and never received a reply. Wig finally came in and resembles nothing I ordered. It is long, past my shoulders, you can see thru the cap. The so called bangs are past my nose. There is no way this piece of crap can be worn. Sorry I was scammed big time. I have emailed and emailed and still no reply. I have no intention of spending any more of my money to send this crap back. Not worth my time. Sorry that FB allows crap like this to be advertised. Buyer beware. I thought this wig was coming from American Wig Store in Port Charlotte, Florida. When it went to PayPal, it took my credit card. I do not have PayPal. Then I get 3 or 4 different names. one being Kaaibaby. After all the emails not one response yet.

  12. I shopped at https://Ladywig.shop.com and this is not a real business. They do not provide reasonable shipment tracking (its a scam to sell your info in itself), there is no true Refund (let alone 100% 14-Day “No Reason” Refund), Customer Service is non-existent without basic begging for assistance and if you do receive a product it’s literally trash. I attempted to track an order I placed from there website at ladywig.shop.com and this is what happened after Paypal got involved to confirm delivery of my items (my message to the vendor Ladywig.shop)…

    It was still an inexcusable lack of customer service from your establishment due to no return communication or legitimate shipment tracking information provided after I’ve attempted many times to reach out to your customer service contacts. Apparently, I had to go as far as opening a claim against your establishment through Paypal just to find out the status of the items ordered from your website. I could not help but think, you falsely advertised items therefore stealing my payment information. I was relieved a package finally arrive at my address although it was unmarked and without sender/return information noted.

    However, once I opened the package I was gravely disappointed as the items delivered were not in any resemblance what I ordered from your website. They were instead horribly cheap knock-off items. All (4) items order were supposed to be authentic 100% human hair lace front wigs ranging between 10-16 inches in length. What was provided were non-lace front plastic/synthetic “doll-like” artificial hair wigs, all (4) are the exact same at 24 inch in length each. I have pictures enclosed of the hag-like, artificial reject wigs that were provided. I’ve also included pictures from your website of the exact ordered and paid items, which should have been delivered for the money you collected from me. It is obvious that the Ladywig.com/shop is a scam because you are falsely advertising items to bait and switch your customers by having them provide their payment information for you to debit their accounts and just throw any cheap artificial replacement item in place of what was actually ordered. The items were not even close in comparison to what has been ordered based on the description and pictures from your website. The incorrect lengths alone proves this fact. In the delivered package, there was no invoice, no description labels or labels attached to the wigs provided to describe their authenticity (what they are made of?, what type they are?, where they were made?). Nothing at all describing them was provided but what was received was (4) badly made, none lace front or NOT human hair wigs stuffed into a bag each in its own cellophane plastic.

    After a few more back and forth negotiations, their offer to me went from 5% refund to 10% refund or I could risk paying out additional funds to ship the product back to their China offices and only if they confirmed receipt, would they send me a refund. There is no way I’d be at the mercy of these charlatans and get nothing confirmed or refunded. I and apparently PayPal has been thoroughly deceived by this fake company and I’m super pissed.
